López will share with us his research on the meaning of digital and its conceptual application to avant-garde art.
In his art, López focuses on the analysis of the applications that technology offers to contemporary creativity and how it must adapt to new means of expression. By listening to López, we will arrive at one conclusion: Avant-garde art is based largely on digital files.
López, loyal to his belief, has created the Harddiksmuseum, a museum of unique digital art files that can be enjoyed in virtual reality thanks to the application of the File Cabin – a project developed by the artist and the company VRANVIC. In the event, we will get an ideal opportunity to know more about his project that comes directly from ARCO`17 and Arts Santa Monica, Barcelona.
López will share his motivations for his latest project, File Genesis, an installation conceived as a digital art creation factory or his future projects like Celeste, an installation that collects in real time the color of the sky and turns it into a digital space.
