Technological changes, rapid development, and expansion of digital information systems have led to the creation of an enormous amount of data. That in return has led to the formation of a new term – the big data era.
But when it comes to data, it is what we do with it, and how we experience it, that’s matter. This is where the work of The Spanish artist Daniel Canogar, stands out. Canogar investigates the interfaces and transitions between virtual and real worlds. He vividly presents the transition from electromechanical to digital systems and is searching for the individual person’s impact and position in the technologically networked world.
In this event, Canogar will share his artistic process, approach, and understating of technological changes. By reflecting on his previous and current works, we will get exposed to a unique way in which we can talk, visualize and experience data.

Daniel Canogar is a well-known Spanish artist. His recent works include Storming Times Square, screened on 47 of the LED billboards in Times Square, New York; “Fluctuations” at Sala Alcalá 31, Madrid; “Echo”, a solo exhibition at bitforms, New York, and Max Estrella Gallery in Madrid;
