SPEAKER:

Iñaki Arredondo is the co-founder and CEO of Madpixel, the parent company of Second Canvas and the award-winning company leading the market in creating ultra-HD gigapixel images of museum artwork worldwide.

Having spent more than 10 years as a digital agency focused on Internet innovation Madpixel is now creating its own products. In 2011 he co-founded the start-up The Mad Video (San Francisco – USA), a SaaS platform for creating interactive videos. The Mad Video has completed two funding rounds and is currently in the process of being acquired by another company.

Before starting Madpixel, Iñaki was a freelance developer for a decade, in the pre-Internet era (he still uses “Do while .T.” in his vocabulary). At that same time he also worked as a programming language instructor and as a musician in different electric and acoustic bands.

Iñaki shares his experience by mentoring Internet based start-ups. He co-founded Chamberi Valley, Madrid’s leading network of consolidated tech entrepreneurs. Currently he collaborates with universities and museums as well by teaching master classes on entrepreneurship in technology and the arts.
