Seminar on New Technologies and Research in Water

November 17, 2021. In association with the Israeli Embassy in Spain and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, we held the first edition of the Water & Sustainability Seminar.
About the Event:
During the event, water was our leading actor; inspired by some of the brilliant scientific minds in the water and sustainability industry, we explored the challenges of resource management, usage of water, and sustainable irrigation systems.
About the Session:
Thanks to the Israeli Embassy and the Blaustein Institute for Desert Research of Ben-Gurion University, we held three sessions with leading scientists in the field of water management and sustainability:
- Professor Noam Weisbrod, Director of the Blaustein Institute, and professor specialized in the Hydrology and Environmental Microbiology department in the Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research.
- Professor Oded Nir – has dedicated his studies and work to finding technologically sustainable and accessible solutions for the environmental challenges related to the water industry.
- Professor Isaac Meir – Author of Building for Climate Change: Planning and design considerations in time of climatic uncertainty; and specialist in sustainable design for arid lands in Israel.
